The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 这段故事，我后来哭了，我不知道为什么。有些地方跟现实很像，有些又跟现实如此相反。
不知道为什么有种在螳臂当车的感觉，志愿军吃冻土豆，转场美军吃火鸡热菜的对比难道很荣耀吗？外国的战争片已经拍出了新高度，为什么我们还在用艰苦而又顽固的战争场面刻画来表达精神？

戏中戏加寓言故事，旧上海滩聊现如今，虽然其中幽默消解了更沉重的意义，变得更加语言小品的感觉，但也已经有了近乎完整的表达，小从电影乱象，大到政治生态。剧本杀这个噱头反而对本片有保护作用，商业外衣与强大的语言类编剧，没想到能有这么强大的力量。

并不是喜剧，剧本质量是不错的，看的令人窒息。张本煜的演技是出乎意料的好。

还不错，刚开始让人摸不着头脑，从中间开始渐入佳境，质感确实有些像剧本杀，但是总是莫名感觉哪里有点刻意了
