The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 同是体育传记，同为值得聆听的重要故事，还有所付出的极限减重以及对多重时间线的挑战的努力；如果Will Smith带着《国王理查德》完成横扫，那这也是个足以让Ben Foster可以竞逐颁奖季的表演。只不过最终落得三年前狼狼与《坏教育》那般“待遇”（TIFF呼声-HBO拿下-晚春档放送），还是只能期待他未来还有机会弥补从《赴汤蹈火》就开始积攒的遗憾。在这之外的部分，这是个严谨甚至知道如何敬畏原材料与人物的展开；贯穿各种暴力黑暗的磨难，以及对每重时间线的意义与人物处境的揣摩；它很没有任何花招噱头，却做好了自己所有想要实现的传达。

情节挺好猜，但画面材质漂亮，从比武变成比舞，歌舞合家欢，片尾曲还挺好听。

合家欢的剧情，真是简单到不行，子承父业的故事，毫无新意，唉，可惜了这么可爱的怪兽
不会有任何人光睡觉就能变成金腰带，苏乞儿梦里也要练睡梦罗汉拳，所以这根本不类似任何拳击励志电影；
题材很好，拍和剪辑得有点糟糕，少数片段拍不错，导演是不是步子跨太大了
没有想象力 没有创新 全是套路，只能给小孩看，相信我，稍微成年一点的会无聊到睡着了
