The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     我能看《第七封印》《都灵之马》《四次》《另一个故乡》这种闷片都能看得津津有味，歌舞片对我来说是一个坎，上次愉悦地看完一个歌舞片还是《爱乐之城》，这片的主角本身就长在我的审美盲点上（不知道怎回事，看到这种五官尤其是咧嘴的时候，脑海里总是浮现出傻子的观感），加上每次一起音乐——不能说好坏，只能说实在是太不对路了，于是，分数再高，也无法坚持看下去，不想折磨自己。

    如果你不了解吉屋出租以及背后的作者你就无法共鸣，去了解一下百老汇的传奇人物和作品吧，这个还是有点小众了。但个人观感还是很好的，我还是喜欢早午餐那一曲，太炫了。
