The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 选角和还原度沾光太多了，虽然漫改后的故事（特别是话多的反派）仍然不时略显极端，但两位主角内敛又深情的对手戏实在太到位了，日本人深谙“美好的秘诀可以是速朽”，烟花般惊艳的草屋和雪地戏实在耀眼。

只是这部电影缺少了真正的尊重，无论是对角色还是对故事里的人物，过于娴熟的反高潮让本片产生了这样的观感，尤其是杀死一村无辜之人后将其当做笑料，这真的是过分了。
是一整个四不像和大难看的动作。从来没有看过这么难看的超英片（当然漫威的一些也很难看，只是这部实在是太难看了，比它的前作还要难看。）
3.5吧，给四颗鼓励下。武打真的不错，艺术性上比动画版相差蛮多的，女主的颜真的有点磕不动。。。

怎么说呢。。。节奏略慢，虽然还原已经很出色了，但是真人版少了动画的肃杀气氛之后，整体而言并不如动画版更值得一看
漫威都是大英雄，DC一把真小人，还是真小人带劲。
感觉这一篇放在最后有一点弱，毕竟大部分的内容之前都知道了

特意重温了一遍OVA再看的真人版。也还是要感叹砂糖老师真的美到不可方物。
为了和平的战斗真的存在吗。
人有珍视之人，亦被他人珍视，
看的第一部剑心真人版。冲着对大友启史导演生涯的稳和前几部被打上漫改天花板的真人系列。有村架纯简直可以看作大友导演的“亲女儿”，虽然定她时被群嘲，但就是有手段把她拍出巴的凄美感。单独看这一部的话，没太GET到佐藤健的魅力，或许需要补补前几部。但是高桥一生的桂小五郎乱世之中，忧国忧民的领袖形象是GET到了~不管怎么说，原著故事还是极好的~巴和剑心的故事很感人~
学生时代的教材上曾经推荐动画版，真人化之后是动画没有的浓烈严肃质感，和随之而来更重的叹息。不现实的爱情，更让人痛心
乱世之中两个人的情感碰撞
人心真复杂，没啥改编，全是原著。
