The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 从头到尾只有一个场景。通过电话那头的描述却能想象出一场惊心动魄的营救。转折的力度稍显不足。
一个人撑起的一出戏，几乎全部靠怼着脸拍表情来掀波澜，念出的大段台词就像带领观众进瓜地，开始还以为家长里短夫妻拌嘴，后来就靠想象都血淋淋了……幸好结局很正能量。
代入感挺强的，有点Call的感觉，这种靠声音描述自己去联想画面的形式更抓人。男主的状态太unstable了，他一系列的问题，婚姻、“误杀”青年可能都是他这样的心理状态造成的吧，里面也有一个特写是接线员的PTSD，虽然他不是一直是接线员（按剧情推测可能是伤害那个青年之后被调岗）。

整部影片靠杰克·吉伦哈尔的演技撑起，换任何人来演都会寡淡无味…老吉YYDS！
落魄之人同情落魄之人，剧情似曾相识，主要是源代码的主演十分面熟
三星给予这探究的新意，对男主的探索应该会让这个故事更加饱满，但是过度挖掘有点本末倒置，没有力量
老吉身上有一种对生活的疲惫和忍受，与其总是演执法暴力，不如挑一个独立文艺本子更好吧？
嗯……用一个突如其来的救赎换取另一个救赎……
这种叙事结构的影片让我想起了另外两部电影 汤姆哈迪的洛克和瑞恩雷诺兹的活埋，与之相比这部是最差的。
完了我仿佛看到了又一个被奖项逼疯的偶像/演技派。Jake驾驭这类形象轻松到我已经不知道怎么夸了，但角色重合度真的太高了
断背山里的吉伦哈尔如今更加成熟了，一个人的独角戏，从开始撑到最后。把那种自以为是试图掌控一切，神经质，焦虑，还有得知反转的真相后的悔恨，认罪后的自我救赎，演绎得很有渐进层次。偶尔的近距离特写，能看到他长长浓密的睫毛，还是挺帅，略有沧桑的颜。
失望。男主表演很好，但是从头到尾都是他一个人表演，都是对话，这是文艺片。没啥好看。

我说分这么低呢，原来又是翻拍，由于没看过原片只看过这部，我还是觉得挺好看的。
即使不考虑跟原版的对比，即使有Jake，也只能给三星
