The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 像是和哎嘛石头的某种隔空共舞，奈何歌曲实在是不怎么抓我。

贫瘠地燃烧，燃烧到贫瘠。电影一般，内核动人，一流的故事、二流的剧本、三流的制作。很Beatnik，很社畜关怀，依靠free writing和improvising的创作完全解构世界的隐喻和意义、摆脱了象征秩序的压迫，叫嚣出最原始最纯粹的自我表达。我们为什么要玩火？当一败涂地的现实与热爱共存，人就获得了去挣扎去燃烧的所有动力。
音乐与剧情似乎一直很激昂，但我的心从头到尾几乎都是波澜不惊…并不是很令我感冒的音乐，可能真实但确实俗套的剧情，真的是让人大失所望，只想高呼一句:《爱乐之城》和《马戏之王》永远的神！

主要是珠玉在前，相比类似的爱乐之城和咖啡公社，这个片子有些太文艺青年的自我感动。

有点难代入，Jon本身的经历比较令人唏嘘。
前面的剪辑一度难进入，后面渐入佳境，最喜欢的几幕是泳池的音谱和天台的想象。好像一只蜡烛啊，尽管短暂但拼命燃烧，发光发热。如果这样活过的话，也足够精彩了吧。
虽然已经看过了，但是我还是好爱鬼灭之刃阿！！！！！！
看到一半突然发现有rap元素，心想该不会LMM也参与电影创作了吧，看完发现原来导演就是他！！！！
剧场版观影顺序：
和醉乡民谣、爱乐之城相比，这部可能缺少些沉淀和让我感动激动的东西，歌词过于接地气，好听的歌曲不是太多，故事有点单薄。
