The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 已经没有了表达欲，只想展现铁汉的柔情，看着这个年纪的东木老爷子自导自演，也未免不是一种见证历史。
东木老爷子真的不应该再主演了，一举一动都颤颤巍巍得让人不忍看，马戏用替身这个大家都能理解，但出拳的绵软无力，哪怕镜头马上对切都没用。Mike这个角色用九十高龄的老人来演，但凡不是东木自导自演的话，选角导演都能算是失职。不过我也能理解东木，他未必是真的想自己主演，而是他不主演很可能就拉不到投资。
更多的意义在于纪录吧，以后分析东木的专题片里肯定无限和《荒野大镖客》闪回交错出现。
和第一部比起来还是无聊了点，大概习惯了无非就是正常人说的话他们都颠倒罢了，也就没什么新奇的了。不过也没很差。中庸吧。

最近的几部片子，老头不自己主演，质量明显就高一些，为这个年纪的老牛仔量身打造剧本太难了。
不太好看，像是融了无数部电影，小黄人+超能陆战队+精灵旅社，反正和动画1还有两部真人的比起来差远了
娱乐性更强了，有点违背了哥特反映现实的黑暗喜剧内核，但胜在制作精良，who doesn’t love watching the Family😏
依旧是暗黑的温斯蒂为主角，但内核仍为有爱的搞怪一家。

哥特风格我很喜欢，剧情温馨，章鱼叔叔是亮点。
电影的话，感觉很难有三了

3.5，墨西哥被表现为一个西部版的LA，当Rafael的母亲在玛雅复兴别墅中对伊斯特伍德说“Go out”时，也是比佛利山上的好莱坞对伊斯特伍德的拒绝，而对于他而言，这些被表现成了一个Abusing mother，以及重启了西部片中的美/墨结构。《哭泣的男人》在西部片的大远景和90年代的Thriller桥段背后是对《完美的世界》的精神翻拍，但似乎比90年代多了某种落魄与孤寂，来自他对于政治理想的失望。但就影片本身而言，一切都似乎过于扁平，就连某些功能性角色也没有发挥好自己的作用。在他《老爷车》时期的影片结尾，他往往选择安排一场死亡，但在这里，90+的伊斯特伍德不得不像他扮演的这位曾经的牛仔，面对自己不再是救世主的事实。
