剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     中规中矩讲好一个故事，没有什么特别的技巧，结局皆大欢喜。特别令我感受深刻的是，行进至一小时十多分钟的时候，好几分钟的静音画面，以父亲的视角展现的聋哑人体会的无声世界。很震撼。再次看到Marlee Matlin演绎聋哑人角色，感觉父母亲兄弟作为聋哑人这三个特殊角色，相对缺乏一些心理特写了。

    成本和产业优势使得美版在“质感”上略比法版占优，但关键场景的视听表达还是照抄法版。法版故事虽然也很鸡汤，但那些看似与主线戏剧冲突无关的段落和“粗俗”喜剧桥段和政治视觉元素短暂地让实在界得以绽出，世界自身的矛盾、死结隐隐得到表达。美版看似更为“雅正”，但也因为这种“雅正”、这种对“肮脏”“低俗”的克制、对政治视觉元素的消音让全片成了彻头彻尾的鸡汤。毕竟，布尔乔亚们心善，见不得这些。
