The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 亲的时候没啥感情，还是吵架的时候有感情哈哈哈
赌博类型片的外壳，内在是导演施拉德反复多次拍摄的赎罪主题。主人公的身份设计有趣而值得深究，算牌高手往往能掌握赌桌上的胜算几率，却难以控制他人的命运轨迹。沉静缓慢的叙事节奏配合上隐约诡异的配乐，将潜藏主人公的心魔再次勾引出来，这种难以磨灭的道德愧疚感是类似赎罪题材的核心，也是近年来好莱坞反思题材的常见模型。施拉德此次突破不大，在过于精密的掌控之下流露出黑色影片的气质，整体而言过于老派，不讨好年轻观众是意料中事。

腔调挺足的，调性一点点邪性，一点点古典，当然布列松啥的我我我还get不了。关键问题是这个故事我看不懂，是反战？反漂亮国？救赎？那这些和算牌和赌博又有啥关系？就男主一张冷脸西装革履的坐在赌桌前去拯救一个乱七八糟的小屁孩，我莫民的觉得这是bl场景~~~救命

这就是魔改吗，把原著的情节调换顺序的我还是第一次见，为了圣诞月上映甚至不惜改季节哈哈哈，不过男女主选角挺不错的
罗马Olimpia。难得的近期看电影不想睡觉场。议题很棒，节奏拖沓，音乐不错，画面和女主都差一口气。
提前的Christmas movie time，除了电梯那里的改编和书里我最喜欢的结尾没拍之外其他都OK，两人还是很有chemistry，虽然男主这种男模式的帅我不是很喜欢
