剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     刚开始看的我：不就是美国移民版罗密欧与朱丽叶嘛，恋爱脑能奈我何。看到结尾的我：可恶还是被他们感动到了，年轻人就是要气盛啊！整体效果舞蹈优于歌曲。

    请教朋友怎么欣赏音乐剧电影，他说“语言无法表达时就唱，唱歌无法表达时就舞，赏心悦目就好”。在没有看过老版的情况下，本片观赏性还是挺强的，光影和色彩俱佳，有色裔演员们的唱跳好听好看，大师级别的运镜锦上添花，纽约西城罗密欧与朱丽叶的故事，莎翁每个板斧都按部就班地砸台子上了，要说有点失落的是期待斯皮有不同时代语境下的改编算是落空了。

    真的是人越老越怀旧，斯皮尔伯格也翻拍起了音乐剧。纽约版帮派争斗背景下的罗密欧与朱丽叶，歌也不好听，男主演技也略油腻，镜头调度几乎是唯一显示导演功力的了。真的是一部脱离时代的平庸之作。

Unlike Bruce Lee’s martial arts, actors fail to express themselves truly through body movements or singing, although Spielberg's mise-en-scene nails it, the 2021 version of WSS is far from a good remake.
