The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 全片简洁不拖沓，最后的枪战有种回到老西部片的感觉。不过西部片真的没落了，也只能挖些老素材拍了。
非常现代的西部片拍法，那种现代社会对老西部的迷之憧憬挥散不去，反应到电影里最具象化的表现就是儿子和父亲的矛盾冲突了。不过拍法虽然是现代西部，但依旧没有创新，甚至连构图都和近几年的西部片无差。比利小子的梗玩到现在。

戏说传奇人物，但没有拍出特别的传奇味来，差了那么点意思。
剧情紧凑，没有废话，还有就是不要多管闲事！！！
3.5，故事很简单，但是完成的非常高，大量的环境描写有别于传统的西部片

这时候冷不丁杀出一个大隐于山的邋遢老农用着颇具年代感的左轮大干特干
归隐枪手露峥嵘，神目如电辨恶善。
西部片的一波三折，还是跌宕起伏的。
父爱很真实
有点装。坏人都得死，曾经的坏人也得死，看来老美也讲政治正确。
原以为是一部类似《小人物》那样的影片，但实际观影感受完全不一样，这就不是一部爽片，跟《小人物》风格完全不同。影片的前70分钟节奏比较慢，但后20多分钟老爸大展神威，只是最后比利小子还是被狼暗算了。我说不上喜欢这部片子，但必须承认质量不错。我给4星7.4分！

确实像有的网友说的，我也有些担心这儿子离家之后的境遇。就联想到不久前看的The Green Knight里面，Gawain出城没多久便被人抢了绑在树林里。
我居然……被這種……如此俗套的故事……感動了……
