The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 好精彩的故事，虽然低成本，但是真的很好了。这可能就是老亨利最好的结局——至少死后有人收尸。不过他儿子终究还是杀了人，不过那又是另一个故事了。

中规中矩的致敬西部片。每个细节都挺考究，但也都没有突破
角色心理活动的镜头的角度太牛了，就是跟动漫似的搞回忆杀就有点平庸了。结局的反转猜出来了，一直拖到最后音乐响起还以为没有呢，结果发现猜错主角了。比里昂救萝莉，泰坦尼克这种男人救女人的商业片干净太多了。

就电影本身来讲，已经够完美了。但就大众的审美偏好来讲，有点过于平淡，典型的七分电影。

西部片只要说比利小子，就像是武术片讲黄飞鸿一样，这是热评的大神说的，一了解。这个改编90几次的故事原型，在本片，是个老套的枭雄迟暮的故事，终究尘归尘土归土，其子踏上新的一轮生活。
内心里免不了跟不可饶恕比较，衡量半天也只能在下不才搪塞过
西部牛仔版农夫与蛇的故事，让人伤心，更何况这个传奇农夫还帅了一整场
很传统很正统的西部片了。正所谓惹老实人，一时善念，麻烦缠身，岂料揭开不为人知的过去，终究该还的还是要还。
人物三两个，个个都不同，男主老亨利是通过儿子的日常疑问与闯入歹徒的撒谎陪衬出来的，但仍然是用笔极简，后劲深长；电影叙事徐徐展开，挖掘出了一个隐没西部民间十多年的传奇。
退隐的高手不得不重出江湖，颇有中国武侠之感
