The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. ego：自我。电影名字就告诉了我们，其实就是女孩的自己，那个邪恶的自己。
剧情比较空，但结局留了足够的空间让人浮想联翩。

有其母必有其女，教育子女要成才就是在孵化他们去善变残忍的一面，人之初性本恶。导演的恐怖设定有想法 3.5
女儿被杀死的是软弱内向，留下来的是黑暗恶毒不择手段，什么样的母亲什么样的孩子，一家人就该整整齐齐
概念老土、创作功利、质感粗糙。如果能真的把家庭部分处理得像情景喜剧，可能会稍微好一点。
虽然故事主题在现在还不落伍，打小报告的孩子确实遭人讨厌。如果本片如同电影的背景一样是80年代拍的话，可能还能成为情怀，现在的眼光看极其平庸。
孵化的不是怪鸟人，而是另一个自己，惊悚谈不上，怪鸟人确实恶心。
看着是自己孵化了自己，内涵挺多，但是我不喜欢
好好一部亲情片，非要拍成恐怖片，整个剧组都变态……
压力很大，有个这样的妈。故事有点像那个杂交生物
与《羊崽》相似，兽首人身，北欧竟如此钟爱这种因人体结构嫁接而产生的反差所制造出的不适感，影片主题的恐怖氛围也由此衍生。不同于《羊崽》的阴冷与疏离，本片花团锦簇、阳光明媚，倒是和《仲夏夜惊魂》的氛围感异曲同工。四壁与裙裾皆布满一簇簇鲜花，就像母亲刻意营造的幸福美满其实也只是一层脆弱的伪装与谎言。讽刺性十足，但表演蹩脚，制作粗糙，只能说是普通网大水准。
一个精神分裂典型案例，在母亲的压力，父亲的缺席，弟弟的敌意，继父的阴影下，小女孩分裂出自己身体中的恶。
什么结局😅…
有《钛》的味道。一个破碎的原生家庭：软弱的爸爸、虚荣和控制欲强的妈妈，孵化了一个黑暗嗜血的女儿。
暗喻比较多，有一篇豆友写的影评不错，把剧中大部分暗喻都说明白了。
说不上有多精妙深刻的寓意，最令人印象深刻的反倒是两次反刍行为。两星半。
