The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. such a beautiful movie in its own right. magically, first time feel right to have a movie in black and white. often thought childhood is the most carefree period and forgot it's also almost the most sensitive time, compelled to take in the turbulences from surrounding environments, and struggled to cope as much as adults, so not really an easy time in retrospect. this movie covers this topic with such tenderness and well crafted structure, nicely done

3.5。A24的品味真好，褪色的纽约与洛杉矶是如此的“冷漠”，而以舅舅这个角色进入到一个破碎的家庭里变成了“褪色”教育里的父亲、朋友。如访谈节目一样给观众们上一课，效果不是很佳.....
中文电影名真的很迷，干脆叫扭计外甥大战新手舅父啦(-ι_- )
1、比想象里无聊一些，采访孩子的部分更有意思。2、不懂为什么要用黑白，没有被说服。
然而黑白镜头足以掩盖一切景、物，迫使你把一切注意力集中在人上，它具有的精神分析意味也水到渠成地展现出来。

又一部以城市为背景板的聊天电影，叔叔与外甥的对话很舒服，“你一直在录音，那些噪音一直在冲刷着你的心，即使你以后会忘记所有事情，我也会提醒你”两个人在聊天与交往中互相成长，真好啊
喜欢导演关于父母子女的很多观点，导演也是个温柔的人啊。并get了其中一篇关于母亲的论文或书。采访孩子的段落应该都是真实的吧，孩子们的表达很纯真深刻。对比那个时候的自己简直是个SB，当然现在也是。
看的时候旁边有个很吵的冰柜 带降噪耳机丢了 已经是丢的第二副了 干！
不是我爱的拍法，过于片段化过于讲述甚至有丢煽，但形式和内容仍是合在一起的，而且两个人在丛林互相吼的时候莫名打动。yep, sometimes it just unfortunately touch me.
