The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 可能小雷本还是有点子他爸爸的天赋在吧，不然不到九十天能打败触手也太不可思议了。剧情算是比较寻常的励志故事，做自己、战胜不可能什么的，煽情和上价值的地方有点突兀，但搞笑的点还不错。
故事有点空洞…有点无聊，没有什么要说的故事，没有新意。
开局还以为有什么惊天大瓜，神反转之类的……结果都没有，剧本平平无奇……而且，一个本来就没有接受过正规训练、且并不那么摔跤的小怪兽，就潦草训练了一段时间，就打败了顶尖选手，这也太牵强了吧。
浪费了很好的故事和剧本，拍得不行，想玩技巧可惜玩坏了，把故事排得、剪辑太零碎！

平庸、俗套，如同嚼蜡。《奎迪》的动画版，剧情毫无悬念，少有的动画电影能看得打瞌睡的。比赛前的音乐模仿《洛奇》的《Eye of the tiger》。
符合我个人的口味，豆瓣评分虚低。奇形怪状的大怪兽战斗加励志的欢乐正能量。搞笑与温情并行。俗套也是可以容忍的。大怪兽的细节出色皮肤肌理有质感。最后那个折椅真的高光幽默。时常控制的也很好不会过于冗长无聊。小女孩的热情勇敢、自我怀疑、沮丧消沉、和最后的奋进都很真实。4星必须的。
怪兽的设计有点难以符合审美
……我为什么要看这么一部电影？情节低幼老套，逻辑混乱，主角也没啥成长性。画面精细程度甚至不像好莱坞作品。我真的觉得还不如国产的熊出没系列。

到最后主角和怪兽的父亲们也没出现，不可能真的遇到海难了吧，感觉会有第二部！
