The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很扎实，而且很好看（重点）。能从旁白中窥出原著的魅力，勾引你去读巴尔扎克的那种魅力。

完整性比较高，对于没看过巴尔扎克幻灭的是个普及。乱入多兰可还行hhh

巴尔扎克原作的加成过大….有些场面调度倒也会闪闪发光了。男主长了一张好穷苦的脸，多兰是真的好看，两位女士看起来真的很大贵族！
-很古典？就说它匠气；
贵族文化盛行的时代，乡下的穷小子即使有着出色的才华，被巴黎的大染缸污染后还幻想能够左右逢缘恢复母亲的姓名登上贵族的平台，结果被人出卖失去了一切，最后回到了开始的地方。电影把巴黎社会各色各样的人进行了描绘，历史感很浓厚，虽然时间长了点，但静下心来还是能沉浸其中。

幻灭，可怜即可悲，同情又觉得一切都是顺理成章的KARMA
拍出了巴黎浮世绘般的的光鲜和繁华，但是在叙事上却显得过于繁杂，以至于让整个故事显得过于冗长，好在精炼的旁白多少弥补了这种观感，当然这并不是编剧的功劳，因为旁白是巴尔扎克的手笔
