The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比较喜欢的是，他们牵着狗去寻回被偷的东西那里。很有意思。包括后来发展出来的对话也很有意义：也许我也差点成为他那样，可能更不如。
不可避免地需要跟原版对比了。画面和背景音都缺少了原版那种沉静、阴冷的质感。老吉的演技还是很好的，特别是在结尾处的爆发。最后情节上有一些小改动，其实完全没必要。还有就是结局实在太拖沓了，没有原版简洁有力。
看过丹麦版再来看这个的话，实在没啥亮点。男主对角色的诠释稍微不同点，其他细微改动其实也就那样了。评分的对比说明了问题。

蛮牛仔风格的人狗交往过程，跟日本的人狗交往电影不一样。
美国退伍兵的题材，可能只有老美比较理解吧，我个人只是觉得一阵伤感，把战争带给全世界，结果自己的心里也是撕裂的
电影结束看到演员表，Lulu是三只狗演的😂
钱老板挺不挑还能给狗狗做配，结果当然了狗是最可爱演技最好的，其他人都无所谓。。。
因为他袒露了他的vulnerability，那么露露也愿意放下防御，这是信任

剧情比较碎片化，也都在意料之中，但架不住对动物题材的天然好感，人和狗互相治愈互相依赖的故事就是很能打动人
独幕剧，即使隐掉了前因，对话和氛围还是撑起了所有情绪。
一人一狗的公路片，你看那条狗，像不像个人。这是我看过相互情感戏最少的宠物片。
