The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     7分。英国著名插画家路易斯·韦恩的故事。古怪的插画家，别人画狗，他偏画猫。娶了地位“低下”的家庭教师，而且妻子还比他大好多岁。他和妻子的幸福小日子没过几年，妻子生病去世。家里六个姐妹都嫁不出去，他也再未娶妻，一直养着六姐妹。虽然画猫成名却入不敷出，生活贫穷，更因为怀念妻子而变得郁郁寡欢、十分痛苦。晚年似乎有些精神问题，笔下的猫变得非常奇特。总的来说并不是“激情人生”，除了绘画的时候，更多的是抑郁。服装不错，有的画面很美。
