震惊我的是这么无聊呆板的故事里还是有清晰的人物动机和发展的 很标准古典的剧本
是不是忘了雇编剧啊......都没有故事的吗？！
套上这个无聊的复仇故事，奥斯卡的魅力可以说少了半分
零碎的情感，莫名的人物关系，来无影去无踪的生活，这些可能正是PTSD患者的写照。这种表现方式有点像洋蓟-本体没什么正经东西，吃完有后劲。
就冲着 Oscar Issac 可以用眼睛飙演技，没白看
《第一归正会》中的喻体：环保议题本身与救赎主题无关，因此处理得游离且荒诞，拓展出黑色幽默式的修辞；这一部里的喻体其实就是赌牌，它仍然浮于主题的表面，却被刻画得抒情又板正，最终甚至导致了电影情境的崩盘——建议把《出租车司机》忘了吧！
像《出租车司机》一个社会边缘愤怒而忧伤的人，又像《海边的曼彻斯特》一个困在悲惨回忆中的人。有胡子的奥斯卡和没胡子的奥斯卡完全是两个人。

个人层面对施虐行为的救赎，国家层面对关塔那摩的反思，还赌上了一个年轻人的前途（输了）。女主的戏份有点莫名其妙。有点真诚的悔罪书，艺术性不太够的电影。
执着于过去的伤痕，妄想得到救赎，却重复撕开伤疤永远无法向前。
关于赌博和虐囚部分都很不错 但主角帮助男孩和放弃比赛的动机仍然缺乏必然性
