The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 案中案多重反转，直面社会丑恶和黑暗，痛陈政治丑陋和肮脏。性别歧视、学术腐败、权力滥用、操控媒体、程序正义、全民迷失在真相外的愤怒……没有歌舞的印度电影是拍给全世界看的。精彩至极！五点五星！
一股脑未打磨的半成品点子塞得倒满当，
首先，它有令人惊讶的反转，适当的带动情绪的BGM，引发观众思考的故事议题。

非常极限的ab故事倒装结构，印度电影版《沉默的真相》，台词、人物塑造极为精妙，关键是触碰的话题无所顾忌，酣畅淋漓。印度电影神如斯，我等汗颜。
本来是奔着娱乐放松来的，这部不适合用来放松。
叙事粗暴，节奏混乱，反转生硬，太多画蛇添足的戏份，但题材上的野心勃勃，总归让人看到了印度电影蓬勃的生机。

影片中涉及到的这些主体和荒诞事件，或多或少的发生在如今这个世界的每个角落，变革还是革命？这是这部影片带给我们的思考，也是每一个国家和每个公民都应该思考的命题。
好糟糕劣质的节奏…不是好电影，哪里体现了敢讲？ 就像是营销号的知识量，也就糊弄天朝电影爱好者，大清都亡了！还闭着眼。
警察 司法 新闻 教育甚至民众的生命，不过都是政治的工具罢了。这电影太可怕了！
豆瓣看片这么多年，每年给到满分五星的电影屈指可数，印度电影再一次征服我。没有完美的电影，但本片值得，更值得国产电影反思（当然我们从来不缺敢拍的导演，只是大家都懂的无奈理由，唉...），转眼间 ，印度电影已吊打我们，太敢拍了！

种姓歧视、教育、法律、人权、性侵、政治、民主……暴露出来的问题真是不少。法庭戏有点乱，还是印度法庭本来就这么乱？律师辩护过程更像讲故事+泄愤演讲。
