The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 能以全手绘风格耗如此成本制作一部oad真是太少见,虽说不看漫画完全看不懂,但是依旧被绝美震撼。动画特有的,朴素归真的。
世界有了新冠之后，院线上映的电影要么是疫情前拍的，要么是克服疫情的阻碍拍摄然后呈现的，那些电影里，世界还是新冠前的样子。
相比于短片，剧情加长并加了对白，有利也有弊。好处是在于里面的一些设定因为加了对白的缘故变得浅显易懂
这个画风真的绝了好美，配乐剧情也很不错，很温馨很治愈

在疫情期间看到这部电影确实有些感触，喜剧效果还可以，尽管不是很疯狂笑点那种，最后温情收场意料之中，不过不失的喜剧电影。
