Professor Mary Beard, renowned classicist and TV historian, is to explore what life was like in one of the world’s most extraordinary and iconic archaeological sites, in Pompeii: Life Before Death, a new landmark programme for BBC One.
Mary Beard – a world Pompeii expert and author of Pompeii: Life Of A Roman Town – will be joining an international team as they bring the very latest technology to bear on this most extraordinary of archaeological sites.
Mary Beard says: “This is a really exciting chance to find out more about the ordinary people who lived in ancient Pompeii. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm hoping we're going to unlock some if the secrets about who the people were.”
For the first time, a team is CT scanning and fully investigating the world-famous casts of the bodies to analyse the skeletons trapped within, to ascertain all they can about who they were, where they came from and how they lived. A team is also conducting DNA analysis of the bodies for the first time.
Elsewhere, the documentary will follow the work of recovering damaged frescoes and mosaics, the excavation and rebuilding of certain key buildings and the organisation and cataloguing of the thousands of astonishing artefacts in the storerooms – from loaves of bread to pet monkeys, paint pots to purses. It will shine a light on the work of archaeologists who are exploring the third of the town that has never been excavated, and will present a unique first look at the complete Pompeii in stunning CGI.
Using the evidence gleaned from all this research, the BBC One film will piece together a full picture of daily life in Pompeii before the town was destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in AD79.

我以为就是普通旧瓶旧酒，没想到还很感动。唐顿庄园吸引我的地方在于把很多激烈的碰撞融合在了一个温和的童话里了。时代的更迭与变迁，传统的瓦解，好像有了善良和正义一切都没有关系。哪怕你知道生活不是童话，但美好的东西还是会很治愈。连老太太死的时候都那么美好，死之前还有一段自己年轻时候爱而不得的故事，像廊桥遗梦一样。深深爱过就够了，怎样都会有遗憾的，拥有的感情哪怕不是最爱也是值得珍惜的。我想婆婆一直装着的那个男人的照片，就像一个年轻时的梦，永远不会逝去。lady Mary是最幸运的entj了，有着传递火炬给自己的estj，有着爱自己sfj爸爸妈妈，有着死去的infp爱人，有着第二任工作狂爱人，还有一个示爱但是被自己残忍拒绝的导演。我喜欢这样平静温暖的故事，有点小风波，这就是生活呀。
终于影院复工看到了这部！午夜票竟然包场了哈哈。爽呆！完全没有意料到老夫人的离开，也算是一个时代终结了。有人离开但也有人新生。记得追剧的时候最喜欢的除了英式范儿，还有对仆人群体的多样描绘，以及主人和仆人的互相依靠，让人看到更多的人性弧光。这部对我来说最大的感动或许就是爱情里的克制，人生中我们可能会遇到很多次心动，但难得的是克制，在原有的平稳道路奔驰，如老夫人和玛丽。男演员和男管家的私奔一看就不对劲，删减就不要引进咯，资源还更完整！
拍出了是枝裕和的感觉，没有什么戏剧性的高潮，但每一个细节的内在张力都暗潮涌动。开头婚礼，结尾葬礼，新生儿来临，生老病死，生生不息，只要有爱，唐顿永远在。
于万达CBD，四星。扣一星， 删除了Thomas和电影明星的感情戏。开场婚礼的长镜头，熟面孔和熟悉的音乐一起出现，让我想起许多年前看《唐顿庄园1》时被全靠台词和运镜推动的群像开头惊艳的时候。应该是最终集了，给了所有人大结局，莫利先生展现出非凡的编剧才华，和巴克斯特小姐直播求婚。仆人们穿着华丽，像《追忆似水年华》最后一部的时代挽歌。三十年代，唐顿庄园面临着两重冲击：经济上的，美国的/旧时文明的，法国的。要捍卫唐顿，则需要与新技术同在一屋檐下。Lady Mary优雅依旧，与戏中导演称得上琴瑟和鸣。她的拒绝也无可挑剔：“我可以吻你吗？”“不。”“我冒犯你了吗？”“没有。已婚的女人被仰慕是最好的赞美。两个英俊的男人为我而战，不是很刺激吗？”她也提到了大表哥：不知道他活着，生活会把他塑造成什么样子。
老夫人值得一个完美的告别。但是，请不要再往下拍了，大家都老得好快。
我们总也无法打败时间，我们永远逃不脱这时代，但我们仍拥有些感动，这感动永存，对吗？

75/100 Downton一晃十二年，那些熟悉的音容再次浮现，忽觉往事如烟。从Titanic的远航，到如今Sound Film的到来，时代似乎一直推着这座古老的宏伟宅邸缓步前行。 Although the Victorian era came to an end, everybody had his or her own new start.
毒舌老太太走好，想念你
大部分演员们都老了，可还是希望能长长久久拍下去。
接待过国王的唐顿庄园，也有楼顶阁楼漏雨无法修复的时候，年轻时的爱恋在即将离开世界之前勾起，电影拍摄走进了唐顿庄园，而在这个过程中从无声电影到了有声电影，幸福的人们开启幸福或者倍加珍惜幸福，一些新的职责落在孙女身上，那场仆人们参与的狂欢，到楼上的落寞。唐顿庄园，继续往下走，会有多少相似又不同的故事呢？
开头主题曲响起真的会泪目…… 剧情非常紧凑，制作精美，巴罗的爱情线可以的。
我的二小姐戏份有点少，但是依然不妨碍我对它的滤镜。其次，真的很喜欢唐顿的服化道。从婚礼到葬礼，一个时代结束了。

十二年前刚开始看唐家屯，十二年可真快呀，仿佛不是一百年前一群英国人的生活。
最泪目的那一段台词：Jonathan的音乐剧演出之后，没有业内人士愿意投资，Jonathan问经纪人，“我该怎么做？” 经纪人回复说，“你开始写下一部剧，写完了就再写一部。剧作家的生涯就是，连续不断的写作。你得一直投稿，希望最终能有回应。” 作为半个同行，简直太有共鸣了，无数次撞墙，无数次自我怀疑，依然还要忍受痛苦坚持写下去，因为放弃自己的天赋才是最大的悲剧。
