The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 非常单纯的“黑镜式”人工智能叛变故事，没怎么触及社会背景，也没太纠结人性阴暗，用热内一贯的荒诞恶趣味搭配儿童科幻级别的CG特效，乱炖出来这么个东西……拖沓是真拖沓，色调与运镜看着也是真舒服。

3.5 剧本扎实情绪密集的波兰学院派，向观众抛出了一团关于权力与暴力如何在媾和中消灭正义与公平、体制如何肆无忌惮施压去磨灭个体的精神与诉求、犬儒如何成为帮凶去隐瞒和篡改良心的黑暗世界。在记录历史和启示现实上这种激烈的纪实有一定作用，当然作为电影，它的揭露沉重得太密不透风，并没有留给观者一个喘息的出口。
人工智能全面出现在生活里的时代，当他们认为自己高于人类想除掉人类时，一家人和自己的家务机器人联合起来反抗成功～又傻又可爱。
