用艺术和科技伪饰，套用《1984》的壳，最终却是讲环保主义。
身体即一切的复古未来内核是有趣的，但被套在了无聊的故事内。如果未来的性别结构还是这个鬼样子，那算什么未来。
跟柯南伯格上世纪那一系列表现身体乃止精神异化的惊悚片相比还是有较大的差距，跟电影讨论的身体内外一样，就电影来说，电影的内在并没有像录影带谋杀案和变蝇人那样脊背发凉的感觉，外在方面也没有什么毛骨悚然的吓人场面，所以还是中规中矩
性与切割一度想到《盲兽》，风格化的观赏性还是有的。开始说环保之后一切变得索然无味。
但是，这是柯南伯格呀，就已足矣。
从诗句中挖掘意蕴类比成从身体中开掘出内涵，属于典型的指物错乱，当然如果非要强行比较，身体和自然存在器官的自然美只是个框架，而展现人体内在行为艺术和自走型“塑料废物处理鸡”在柯南堡视域下都是艺术美，因为有理念加持，但也会因为被动过手脚的“物”，导致最终指向这个新新人类时，理念彻底崩溃，毕竟黑格尔的自然美与艺术美关系，并不是个走哪哪牛逼的自动机，绝望的结尾即悲悯又美且引人深思，三者不分彼此，不要作任何 价值排序 的忠告回响不绝，柯南堡用心良苦啊！

概念很新奇，设定也很有趣，但故事本身乏善可陈，惺惺作态，实在大失所望…
将人类的一切存在剥离到只剩下身体和器官的程度。
【7.5】太久没看柯南伯格长片，都忘了他就爱搞这种猝不及防的结局。《大都会》的味很冲（以对话为主的闷片），混上肉体恐怖的奇观盛宴，能给恐影爱好者过把瘾。顺带重新定义了一把艺术、欲望、政治...
当内在不再适应外部的改变时，革命是由身体内部开始的，这时几类人开始分野，主动谋求改变的（手术更改消化系统）；尚未自我觉醒的进化被动选择者（器官变异者）；旁观者（拍摄记者们）；将政治理解为行为艺术的狂热追随者们（可笑的耳朵）；把变革打上tattoo的政府中立监视者们；激进的暴力保守主义者。忒修斯之船行驶于文明和艺术的荒漠之中，定义粉碎并重建于痛苦带来的高潮与古老性爱的对撞之间。自我解剖是发现自我最赤裸裸的手段。
高概念下竟如此保守，把人类进化的探讨拉低到要通过手术，切割去体会新性爱及快感。不得不说，格局小了。
