The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 如果不是SARS 我可能还看不出来这是什么年代的戏 不论台湾还是美国 二十年来都挺遥远的 也就周杰伦的那首《安静》 二十年来一直不变地流行着
文化冲突，家庭冲突，错位的爱意。爱和恨是一体两面。
情绪很重也很实，不知不觉就进入到这个家庭里了
“如果这已经是你妈妈能做的最好了呢？”
同样语境之下的家庭反思，有细节有生活有矛盾，一泉活水。
影片里大女儿和爸爸“统一战线”的状态让我想起自己小时候，也很不尊重妈妈，没有把妈妈的付出看在眼里。
爆感同身受😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭为他人（家人）着想总是需要敏感 敏感就容易受伤；但自私也容易受伤。家人与地域的认同过程里 也是爱和恨的并行
可以说十分的细腻了，不煽情的情况下把家庭成员之间的情感关系描绘的这么有看头，有矛盾有对立，也是彼此相爱的
和《瀑布》有得一比，类似题材，疫情时期，母女关系。但总是差了口气的感觉。
成长具有一系列共性的情绪符号：反叛和驯服，救赎和引导
不过也可以理解大多数人无法代入这个电影，毕竟这种复杂的经历很少人会有。就一个影视作品而已，这部片也是少见的压抑，基本就是全程下坡，到最后才稍微上抬一下。

很好理解的小故事，说不出哪里好，但看完的确会被感动。
最喜欢的一段剪辑是从splash的马蹄铁切换到离家出走公车上的吊环把手。她爱马的自由，却未曾想过马也爱自由，每个人其实都是一样的孤独和自私。
同样是侧重于母女关系和家庭关系，这部的真实自然程度远超瀑布，几个压抑和爆发的点都很有代入感，美中不足是结尾戛然而止，我以为会落在母亲听女儿的演讲那里可惜后面就没交代了
-可是如果这已经是她的最好了呢？
我只是覺得她可以做得更好
