The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 喜剧还是挺成功的 没啥逻辑铺垫 特效也有点三毛 不动脑子傻乐就完了
服化道比现在绝大多数电影要好，打斗真实，没把观众当傻子，有王家卫武侠电影那味儿。
剧情虽然简单，但实打实的刀法近战，没那些花里胡哨的港式武打动作，实战派，过瘾！

强调娱乐性的成熟电影工业产品，但是没什么创新，几个人物的感情来的就像龙卷风，剧情转折也像过山车，缺乏铺垫。两个小时的片长基本就是打闹笑。但是由于特点抓得很准，也能看个热闹。
近年来不可多得的武侠片，算小成本制作的良心之作！
