Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
俗套类型下的亮眼创新，一切毛病都可以归咎给制作成本。以及，小演员们太正了！希望他们未来都能制霸好莱坞。
反套路的惊悚片，看到最后有种小鬼当家的舒爽感。
预告片剧透全片系列。有装神弄鬼的嫌疑，全靠老式的jump scare，吓人确实是吓人，说年度最佳恐怖片的多半是没怎么看过恐怖片…..勇敢可爱的妹妹、帅气仗义的基友，除了爹不行，男主这真是人生赢家了。BTW这可能是伊桑霍克演的最带劲的角色之一。

一开始质感还行，可惜小男主被绑架后就开始神神道道了，倒也不是说不能超自然，只是编的水平实在不咋样。不过，小兄妹两个还是蛮可爱的……
感觉有些失望，这反派也太没新意了，黑色电话这个点子是好的，其他就看不到太多优点了，不够紧张也不够刺激。
芬尼之所以能成功，是因为他站在了巨人的肩膀上。质量还不错，起码设定很新奇，故事该有的波折也有了，前面铺垫有点长，而且很多东西很多余。恐怖其实就一两个镜头，R级也就一两个镜头，看着还挺过瘾的。
3.土能从马桶冲走?????
伊桑霍克演变态挺绝，以前怎么没发现？之前噱头挺足，导演综合素质不低，但本片细节处理还是粗暴随意，小女孩演得不错实际没啥作用，凶手背景近乎于无，关键也不吓人啊！
虽然剧本完成度比较高，但还是有点失望。本来以为是恐怖片，结果只是奇幻悬疑的儿童成长电影。成片更像是靠场外求助完成密室逃脱的真人秀，穿插参赛选手家庭背景介绍，游戏结束还有亲友团拥抱环节
如果能把伊桑和他弟弟两个角色给做丰满了，那就很好看了。导演之前的《险恶》也有类似毛病，但险恶里反派毕竟就是邪神啊，这里面是人的角色撒….

3.0/这么肤浅的角色怎么配得上Ethan
不恐怖不惊悚不伦不类，被绑架前树立的那种“校园霸凌受害者”的人设似乎对结局没有什么影响，导演也没有继续在这个主题拓展下去。
看着猎物绝望逃亡的尝试，作俑者自身升腾起掌控的愉悦，正因为现实的虚弱，才得以“面具”遮蔽自身，以遮蔽带来罪恶的勇气。面具自身便有这样的作用。
演技很怪，人物很怪，剧情也很怪，那些人的想法我也看不懂。。。。
一部像恐怖密室逃脱游戏的电影，每一个“无声”的灵魂提供一个线索，而每一个线索在最后都恰好运用上，这种感觉如果是游戏我会觉得很舒服，但是放在电影里就有点刻意，太过“完美”了。
为了把一部短篇小说拉长到一部电影强行加入各种毫无必要的剧情和角色。本来跨越生死，五人合一的剧情可以很感人很热血，偏要拍成jump scare遍地的廉价鬼片。
就说这个故事咋那么斯蒂芬金老师，一翻评论发现原著是他儿子写的！
