The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 纳粹崛起前夕，魏玛共和国学生艺术家的生活。法比安大概1900生人，一战后期入伍，经历了战败，他的生活看似与政治无关，其实已经被凡尔赛条约死死盖住井口。在失去友情与爱情之后，像马丁伊登一样淹死，没有遭遇之后破碎的生活，也看不到他的家乡德累斯顿被盟军轰炸的惨状。

9分吧。镜头语言丰富，视角切换得当，是一种艺术享受。作家的苦恼来源不是金钱，也不是灵感，更不是家庭，战争，主义，友谊，信任，责任，爱情，正义。而是在痛苦于自己的无能为力，只能寄希望于自己的作品改变世界。正如结局一样。。。
看完就觉得，这样充实饱满的剧情，也确实得三个小时才能承载。

法比安纯粹又迷茫，是疯狂时代里我们每一个人。镜头太棒，三个小时一点都不觉得冗长。片后连线汤姆希林，他说拍摄时期的他处于迷茫状态，恰好和片中男主状态有重合，于是能更好演绎。
非常密集的台词，以至于刚开始十五分钟不停的在倒回重看。非常“高效”的一场会议，充分体现出德国人的严谨，把1100万犹太人安排的明明白白，看的人毛骨悚然。

法比安溺水身亡。水面飘荡着蚂蚁和烟头。旁边有人在拍婚纱照。这be美学！
世界在崩塌，人们在狂欢。清醒的人以各种玩笑的方式离去。
德国人精细严谨的特点被表现得很好
隔壁filmnächte上生吞。感觉这有点用力过猛。
结尾的死亡让故事嘎然而止，却也是我最不喜欢的结局无论是否存在隐喻，我宁愿看见法比安在回到家乡后躲在房间独自哭泣，失去友情忘掉爱人。
