其实这部电影的故事架构并不新颖，但是女导演的细腻，剧本的铺陈，女主的投入，都让这部剧没有落入俗套。但生活并不会因此而美好，但我们依然努力着。

由于各人对家庭的羁绊，新仇旧恨交织，救赎别人等于救赎自己。桑德拉·布洛克演技很给力，剧情很俗套。
前半段十分平淡，一度让人不知道想具体表达什么，从头到尾渲染了一种压抑、沉重的现实压迫，好在后半段的反转直接拔高了本片的内核，让人直呼生活的艰难但又仍然充满着希望。
