The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 终于看得到每一个有名字的战士，终于台词不再是歌功颂德的咬文嚼字，终于不再狠狠煽情。狙击手对峙部分有头脑有技巧，虽然不是那种能够让人念念不忘的电影，但是也足够讲得上好。
北野武的个人特色太过强烈，真不是很好演的，影帝太精致了总少了很多感觉。单纯从这片来说，师傅这个角色更有存在感和魅力一些吧。
除了子弹时间特效不行以为，我觉得电影完成度很高，没有喊口号，但是有真情实感

但影片总得来说剥离煽情还是差口灵气。
原本想一部拍北野武的电影居然不是限制级那得多没意思，但其实浅草小子时期的北野武就是如此温情励志，好像红白歌会现场幽暗灯光下那一曲小调，怀旧而伤感。柳乐优弥模仿的惟妙惟肖，但多希望最后那一组镜头导演本尊可以现身。
三星，但对比同期（笨小孩未看），加一星吧，毕竟小事儿紧张感挺强。
真正的电影是，哪怕从头到尾就一场阵地战就那么几个人，都能让观众心悬着，悬到最后。
