黑白的摄影和灯光都很迷人，甚至比故事更让人聚焦。麦克多蒙德太抢戏了，似乎在整个戏之外。
原著和电影几度唤醒在Sleep no more穿梭的数小时恐惧，不是因为喜欢，而且因为熟悉，越熟悉越想靠近这份神秘。我也好喜欢这阴沉又光明的天空。
表现主义的主观现实弥散着荒诞离奇，极简主义的黑白布景充斥着焦躁不安，形式主义的运镜构图回荡着古典情怀的啼鸣——优美，但没劲。电影已然前行了一个世纪，难道还离不开戏剧的影子吗。
戏剧总有一种魔力，会把电影拽入平庸的深渊。科恩找到了表现主义这把钥匙，打开了那扇联通两个世界的门。我看完震撼得只想问：“科恩，兄dei！考虑把莎士比亚都拍一遍嘛？”

一边看原著一边看电影，部分改动相当合理，整部剧展现到位。
跟能说出1962年后的每一届奥斯卡最佳女主角获奖者的 斯拉夫男子做爱、喜欢David Bowie的Caleb，而且是个毒舌，真的很难不爱！
