The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 可以看，但是很难受。一句话，好莱坞的编剧的1998年能写出楚门的世界，2021年却只能弄出这失控玩家。写这个本子的人简直就是工贼，玩弄游戏里的点子然后给游戏树靶子，npc保护协会马上就要成立了。美国人是离了族群分化就不会说话了么？感觉整个故事架构和赛博坦金刚一样都是一个“狗狗是人类最好的朋友”叙事，充满了殖民遗风，在剧情里又处处刻意的在点女权，blm，自由（然而性格代码已经决定），简直是最大的笑话与虚伪。
男主发现这个世界不是真的，和保安好友谈心。“This moment is real”这一刻的我们的情感、喜怒哀乐都是真实的，这就是活在当下。
初看是拒绝stoic，结尾却是人生剧本早已写定，非常的Epictetus。

说到底还是在收割韭菜观众的一种套路，让每个战五渣的NPC臆想自己也可以成为超级英雄。话说经济危机时期穷苦人节省下的饭钱成就了多少浮夸奢华的明星，如今也不过如此。PS：说到彩蛋，也不过是另一种迪士尼霸权的呈现，却被受剥削者津津乐道，也是可悲。
