The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 低于预期，这个题材好好写剧本的话怎么也是部合格的爆米花片，但这部不是。
要批评下网飞，不要再随便给预算拍一些这么普通的片子，剧情不亮眼，演员不抢眼，形式也不耀眼，结果让人没眼看的片子。网飞的水准已经严重拉低啦！
两星半，这么个优秀的能展开讲文化变革的设定居然就给拍成俗套的青春校园片了，太浪费了…但客串啊啊啊居然是Alicia Silverstone！！
